What is required of my dog in order to get groomed?

Do I need to make an appointment for my dog?
Yes, we require you to make an appointment for your dog to get groomed. Grooming slots fill up, so we highly recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible by giving us a call at 515-969-2275.
What is one-on-one grooming?
The Mo’Tail & Spaw at Paws & Pints offers one-on-one grooming. This means that your dog is being groomed in a private room away from other dogs and groomers. If this is something you or your dog desires, we are happy to accommodate.
Am I allowed to wait during my dog’s grooming appointment?
Of course! Paws & Pints offers a full bar, restaurant, and coffeehouse, so you are more than welcome to hang out during any grooming center appointment. Check out the Bonetique for all the latest and greatest dog treats and toys!
Where do I go to drop-off and pick-up my dog(s) for a grooming appointment?
Please go to the Mo’Tail & Spaw check-in desk for pick up and drop off. Your dog(s) is to remain leashed at all times within our lobby area; please use a quick snap collar.
Can someone else drop off or pick up my dog?
Yes, as long as you have given us advance notice of the name of the person(s) approved.
What if I can’t pick-up my dog when my dog is wrapped up with their grooming appointment?
Life is hectic, so we understand if your dog needs to hang out for a little while, however, if we have to look after them for 90 minutes or more after your grooming appointment, we will charge you for a half-day of doggy daycare.
