Whether you have a dog or not, Paws & Pints is the paw-fect place to grab a meal, watch the game and sip on your favorite drinks.

Central Iowa dog owners deserve a place where barks and wagging tails are paired with brews, cocktails, and the big game. Your Best Friend’s Bar at Paws & Pints has you and your four-legged companion covered with multiple areas to grab something refreshing whether you’re indoors or outdoors.

Dog owners can enjoy a full bar with a signature cocktail list and more than 20 beers on tap. The “YBFB” restaurant cranks out quality bar fare that you and your kids can enjoy with rotating menu options. Morning guests can enjoy fresh coffee, warm bagels, and more from P&P Express.

For the dogs (we said we had them covered too), how about made to order, human grade, fully balanced meals to enjoy on-site or to take home from The Bonetique*. In addition, we make several kinds of fresh, single-ingredient jerky in-house on a weekly basis and when it’s gone, it’s gone!

The best part? Paws & Pints has a fully covered and heated patio! This means we have the biggest year-round patio where you can dine with your dog!

Can food be enjoyed everywhere?

No, food and/or treats are not allowed in dog park areas unless it’s during a private event or during other approved times.

Absolutely! Drinks of any kind can be enjoyed throughout the facility. Indoor and outdoor areas, patio, lobby, and as far as we are concerned, enjoy a drink while you shop at the Bonetique too!

Are dogs allowed inside the bar area?

Unfortunately, not at this time, unless it’s a service dog. If it was up to us, dogs would be everywhere but the kitchen!. They can be leashed on our patios or unleashed in our dog parks, but the inside-bar is a no-dogs-allowed area.

Do I need to sign the dog park waiver if I don’t plan on entering the dog park areas?

No, if you are coming to simply enjoy some drinks, food, or both, you do not need to sign our waiver. If you do plan on entering the dog parks, we kindly ask that you come to our check-in area and sign one. We thank you in advance for following our rules.

Are the meals offered to dogs healthy?

Yes, our made to order meals for dogs are nutritious and offer your dog a fully balanced meal replacement. For dogs enjoying cooked, human grade food for the first -time, we suggest starting slow and working up to a full meal replacement over a 7-10-day span.
