Raw dog food returns a dog’s diet to its instinctual ancestral days. Raw dog food contains more nutrients than kibble and is typically composed of healthy organ meat and fresh veggies and fruit. Raw food is broken into a few categories, Dehydrated Food and Freeze-Dried Food which removes the moisture from the raw food making it safe for consumption and gives it a longer shelf life, as well as Raw Frozen Food.

Dehydration: Removes moisture slowly leaving pellets or powder that must be rehydrated before consumption.
Freeze-Dried: Preserves raw food and its nutritional content at freezing temps, removing the moisture.
Raw Frozen Food: Maintains the full nutritional value of raw food by freezing it. It’s stored frozen and requires thawing before serving.
