‘Paws and Pints’ to offer entertainment for humans and dogs

DES MOINES, Iowa —

A “paw-some” opportunity for pups digs a hole in the ground in Des Moines this week. The “ulti-mutt” canine retreat and social spot is coming to the metro.

At the corner of 63rd and Park, right by Cornerstone Family Church, you may have already seen the “coming soon” signs.

The new business is called “Paws and Pints,” a place for dogs and their humans.

It’ll be the community’s first place where you and your four-legged friend can enjoy both an indoor and outdoor off-leash dog park, bar, coffeehouse and more. The facility will offer dog training and have an on-site vet.
